Many golfers have searched unsuccessfully for the illusive Holy Grail hole-in-one that crowns their playing career. The dizzying euphoria that comes with that one shot is insurmountable and you might as well give up golf after that because it’s never going to get that good again. However, if you still have not popped your hole-in-one cherry do not fret, your time will come, and on that day you will be a man my son. At Sport.co.uk we wanted to bathe in the reflected radiance of the achievements of others who have joined the ranks of golf’s highest echelon...

10) Rich Beem
Customs of celebrating holes-in-one vary across the world (remember the HSBC advert). After sinking a spectacular hole-in-one Rich promptly ‘makes merry’ with a red Nissan, as you do. Dry humping a car may not be everyone’s initial reaction to making a hole-in-one, but hey, whatever turns you on.

9) Lucky Man
Some guys have all the luck. This unknown golfer was rewarded the princely sum of one million dollars for his efforts. Although I think some of the hefty bonanza should go to the aggressive dominatrix-like spectator who seemed to startle the ball into the hole with his scare tactics: “Get in there! Get in there! Get in there!”

8) Ian Poulter
Ian usually lets his garish style dazzle his opponents into submission but this time, for a change, he lets his golf do the talking with remarkable results. He provides a magnificent shot to go with his fabulous outfit.

7) Phil Mickelson
After a stunning effort for a hole-in-one Lefty can barely keep the smile off his face. Feeling a little boisterous Phil then jokes with the crowd playing the age old prank of ‘where is the ball?’ before retrieving it from the cup. Shine on you crazy diamond!

6) Tiger Woods
Tiger is no stranger to the exclusive hole-in-one club. It should not be that unusual for the best golfer in the world to achieve a hole-in-one form time to time, after all it is his job. If it wasn’t for his frantic high-fiving and fist punching I would have put him higher on the list.

5) Jason Hargett
Having just sunk a life changing hole-in-one, wild celebrations inevitably ensue. Having run about for a while doing a number of clichéd football-like gestures Jason tires and is unceremoniously dump tackled (44 seconds in) by his pursuer who then attempts to have his way with the newly made millionaire.

4) Miguel Ángel Jiménez
The ginger Spaniard bombards the flag with a precision shot that an SAS Sniper would be proud of. Jiménez finds nothing but hole and it wouldn’t be the first time, won’t be the last.

3) Frank ‘Fuzzy’ Zoeller
Even Fuzzy has given up on the tee shot that has settled on the edge of the rough just behind the green but “oh wait a minute...noooo...oh please!” I don’t think M. Night Shyamalan could have added a bigger twist to this epic shot if he tried.

2) Leif Olson
Leif plays an astonishing bit of snooker by rebounding his ball off his playing partner’s ball and in to the pocket. The highlight of the clip, however, has to be the peculiar way the commentator pronounces ‘Z4 Roadster’ 35 seconds in. It’s not quite right, but thanks for trying all the same.

1) Vijay Singh
The Jesus shot is quite simply the best shot hit in the history of the universe ever! Not only does he score a hole-in-one but he manages to skim the ball off the water in the process. How? Why? Is there a god? Is Vijay the Second Coming? Should he use his powers for good or evil? All these questions, so little time.
