Adidas today launched their ‘athletics 26’ range of Olympic themed training apparel. Inspired by the official London 2012 pictograms, the collection follows on from ranges already released for cycling, basketball and football.
There are a number of sport specific products for men and women including jackets, tees, shorts and ¾ length tights, all of which have been designed with specific technical features such as removable sleeves, body temperature moderating material and 3D fabrics that improve the airflow to the skin.
‘26’ Athletics Men’s Jacket RRP £62.00

One of the key pieces of the ‘26’ Athletics range. The ClimaProof® technology means the garment is extremely weather resistant whilst the hi-visibility piping and print allows the runner to be seen at night. In addition, the jacket features removable sleeves, allowing the garment to transform from a jacket in to a gillet, perfect for the transition from winter to spring.
Key design features include the ClimaProof lightweight fabric, mesh inserts, detachable sleeves and the London 2012 athletics pictogram.
The apparel has been developed to inspire sports participants and fans to support the Olympic and Paralympic movement in the run up to the London 2012 Olympic Games. Further lines are planned over the next two years launching throughout 2011 and 2012.
